PREFACE

The second part of the Thornhill Parish Register comprises volumes IV. and V.

The former is bound in full sheep, measures 1 1^" by 7I" and contains 358 paper pages — entered in, and comprising half of this book are the baptisms^ &c. performed at Flockton 17 13 to 181 2.

Volume V. is bound in full calf, and contains 168 vellum pages i6|" by 11". It is in rather poor condition.

The thanks of the Society are due to Rev. H. T. Hayman, M.A., the Rector, for affording every facility for the printing of this part.
